As a self confessed geek you can imagine how excited I get over new tools. Especially tools that allow me to work smarter not harder in my biz.
And because I want that for you too, I’ve put together this list of my most used and loved tools. These tools save me time and money when it comes to running my biz as well as building better solutions for my awesome clients.

Affinity
I made the jump from Adobe CC last year and honestly I haven't looked back. I was never a pro at the Adobe tools but Affinity feels way more accessible. I started off with Photo (editing photos) and Designer (creating and manipulating all manner of digital graphics) but recently added Publisher to my arsenal to help create PDFs and documentation.

Audio and Video Production
These are the tools I use to produce video content for client walk throughs, video tutorials and YouTube.
Loom
I use loom to create recordings of my screen for client walk throughs, video tutorials and YouTube content. When I get asked a quick question it is so easy to open up Loom, record a 2 minute video and send the link to a client. So much better than taking screenshots and writing out instructions.
Canon EOS 60D
Whilst webcams and mobile phones have made video recording super accessible I still prefer to break out my trusty DSLR camera when recording myself on camera. Paired with a sturdy tripod I find I get a much more professional outcome with a wider range of camera positions than a webcam.
STADIUM MEMPHIS USB MICROPHONE
Whilst the DSLR provides great video quality the in built audio isn't great without a microphone. I use an external USB microphone plugged into my PC to capture crystal clear audio to pair with the HD quality video from the camera.
Plantronics RIG 400 PC Headset
I couldn't live without my gaming headset. By far the comfiest headset I've used, superior sound quality and boom microphone makes recording audio a breeze.
Adobe Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro is the industry-leading video editing software for film, TV, and the web. With Premiere Rush you can create and edit new projects from any device.
Audacity
Audacity is an easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. Developed by a group of volunteers as open source.

Legal 123
My go to for website legals. The website legals pack is what I recommend for all clients to cover the essentials for Australian businesses.
Mailerlite
