There were a lot of moving parts involved in this website with the combination of the image galleries and membership functionality. The challenge was coming up with a seamless navigation experience once members logged into website whilst isolating the membership content from non-members. To overcome this I implemented a hidden button that only appears for logged in users. The members area menu is a drop down mega-menu providing direct access to membership management options as well as the individual image collections.

One of the big challenges from a design perspective was incorporating and highlighting Huey’s gorgeous photography and brand design elements whilst ensuring all copy was readable and well laid out. As with all sites that start out as templates the design was changed significantly along the way to suit the needs of the business and purpose of the site.
